I've just finished my first commission - a cajon. It was for a friend who's an amazing drummer and he played it in a music shop that's just opened in my town. They were very impressed and are thinking about selling them for me along with my guitars!!
Such a great feeling to have an instrument you made being played in public, even if it is just a plywood box!

Congratulations! I agree, it doesn't have to be a guitar to give you a really satisfying feeling when you deliver something you made into the hands of an enthusiastic customer. Well done!
